When we started Parcel, we wanted to become a company that was net-good. We don’t want to be a company that is just neutral. We can do better — and so can others. Parcel as a brand aims to be inclusive, accessible, loving, and one that doesn’t just speak, but acts.
Part of that action is 1% of Parcel revenue goes to carbon capture and other climate change initiatives.
But there is room for more, so we’re making changes to address that.
Although we might not be a mega-corporation (talk to us in a few years when we are THE ultimate email coding platform), we can still have a role in supporting communities and striving to make the world a better place. And, if every brand, company, or group in our email space took the same stance, together we could have a much bigger impact towards positive contributions in the world (beyond just making emails accessible).
Starting today, we'll be allocating another 1% of revenue to additional charities and organizations, one month at time. For each of these months, we will support a different charitable cause.
June 1st marks the beginning of Pride Month in the United States, so 1% of revenue will be contributed to charities that support, recognize, and celebrate LGBTQ+ individuals and communities. Parcel is in full support of this community, and stands for the right to love whomever you choose in this world!
We are looking forward to being able to support a variety of causes each month, and we thank our current subscribers for giving us the platform to be able to do this. We hope that these steps to create an inclusive, accessible space in the email community influence other brands to take similar steps.
Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
